Emo as described by Wikipedia, is often used more generally “….to describe related aspects of fashion, culture, and behavior”.  The Emo hairstyle being one of individual expression, making statements, and wearing your hair in whatever fashion that makes you content.  Some guy celebs who are most recently notable for branching out and bringing in the “emo hairstyle” are celebrities Pete Wentz and Adam Lambert.  The typical emo look most guys go for is the fringe look, using shears to cut their bangs at an angle across the face, which fall down the front of one eye. Others go for a short spiky look. Some add color, a dramatic jet black look against softer skin tones. Others go a little further adding in splashes of one or several bold colors. Although, originating during the punk rock days of the 1980’s, these boys are making big statements with their personal hair style choices and bringing back this pretty hot trend to the alternative-rock world!
