Shear Genius Countdown
We’re only 5 days away from the Shear Genius season premier. Bravo will air the third season of their hairstyling competition on Monday, February 3rd at 11 p.m. EST. They’ve added international flare for the first time, rounding up 12 of the most talented hair stylists from around the world all to compete for a grand prize of $100,000.
This season’s judge panel includes returning judge, Kim Vo and new judges Camila Alves and Jonathan Antin. Famous stylist Orlando Pita will mentor the competing stylist throughout the contest.
The hairstylists will fight to demonstrate that their styling and cutting abilities rank above the rest and can go beyond just standing behind a chair in a salon. One good example of a leaping off from the show and becoming a huge success was stylist Tabatha Coffey of Tabatha’s Salon Takeover (just completed season 2). After being featured on Season 1, she’s not only proved herself as being a hot stylist and salon owner, but one who could takeover a salon in desperate need of a business makeover and transform them back into a money-making salon again.
